  First release of claudia: run Claude Code in a rootless Podman container with read-only inputs, a read-write output directory and persistent named instances.

  • claudia run/list/show/rm/build
  • per-instance home: login, settings and Claude Code auto-updates persist
  • start-up options are never visible inside the container
  • mandatory high-level work log in /work/output/CLAUDIA-LOG.md
  • --restricted egress allowlist proxy
  • nested Podman (on by default, --no-nested to disable)

  Install: uv tool install git+https://kode.naiv.no/olemd/claudia, the Debian package from the Forgejo registry, or the files attached below.
